Here is a worthwhile download - a handy little Device Hook modification from jas0nuk. While emulating FW 2.50 with DevHook this mod simply allows you to return to your original 1.50 firmware by pressing "Home" & "Square" - avoiding the hassle of performing a hard reboot, cool huh? It's completely compatible with DevHook versions 0.42 to 0.42b.
To install: overwrite the "vshex.prx" file on your memory stick with the one below. It's located in the "dh/kd" directory.

港版白色PSP1006*1 (购买时即为2.6版)
先检查你的PSP是否可以降级，目前可以肯定的是主板为TA-082版的不可以降，在国内国外目前都还没有成功的例子。
目前最简单且被很多玩家证实的办法就是检查上图所示的位置有无IC码，没有的话可以降级
这款黑色机器也是购买时2.6版本的，我们可以看到在右上角里可以很清楚的看到有IC1003这样的标示，这是公认的TA-082版，目前还没有降级成功的。点击可以进入大图，请和上边的白色PSP作对比。
确认你的机器可以降级后请按照下边的流程来进行降级（

注意事项：
1.请保持降级文件的完整性，DOWNDATER里面的文件一定不能改动，如果这个文件夹里的文件缺失或是错误，失败率是100%的。
2.建议降级前先格式化记忆棒，如觉有必要的话，甚至也可以重置系统。
3.为了保证eloader正常工作，PSP\GAME里面请不要放入过多文件夹，最好只保留必须的一个文件夹（DOWNDATERTEST），因为文件过多我们碰到了死机的情况。
4.由于未找到台版机器，未在台版机器上测试。
操作步骤：
系统为2.6的PSP
1.取得降级必须的文件（GTA引导程序（eloader）、降级程序（DOWNDATERTEST）以及降级文件（文件夹DOWNDATER）。从我们站下载的文件已经设置好文件路径，将其拷贝到记忆棒根目录下即可。
2.将GTA放入PSP
3.在PSP上运行GTA，耐心等待，当GTA运行到出现进度条的时候，会自动进入eloader。
4.将PSP插上电源。
5.根据自己的机器版本选择程序（我们对降级程序的文件名作了修改，添加上了各自对应的版本号）。然后运行程序。
6.现在是最考验耐心的一步，请耐心等待，此时屏幕不会显示任何图像，但是记忆棒灯会一直闪烁。
7.如果成功，降级完成后将会出现蓝屏画面，按圆圈进入设置画面，设置好相应的设置，之后会提示不能读取UMD盘（The
disc could not be read.)，这个是正常现象。
8.强制关机，然后重启，你将有一台正常的1.5版PSP。

The current version supports most action script through version 7 and runs on 1.5 only. We are currently testing for 2.x PSPs and will announce when it is working on 2.x firmwares. If someone gets it working, be sure to let us know.
Source will be released in a couple of days once we get it all cleaned up.
It is still a little bit buggy on flash files which use MP3 sound. PCM sound is fully supported.
MP3 decoding just eats up too much memory right now when decoding the mp3 stream to a raw sound stream so we ask for your paitence.
Also, loading times are being worked on. Basically everything needs to be converted and cached in memory (of which there is not alot available) and this takes a little while.
Consider the current release a "proof of concept" release. Fully functional (smooth video) with a few glitches.
When we release the source, we're hoping to get a few more developers involved with code cleanup and bug fixes.

We encourage your to sign up and leave bug reports and feature requests (within reason please).
We will be publishing some sample swf files and full specs so people can start converting their flash files over to something a little more PSP compatable.

命名规则：
1. 带 % 的目录字节前后最多总共要 8 个.
文件夹名称大于多于6个的，取前6个字符，再加上"~1%"，类似于DOS的8.3环境下使用长文件名；文件夹名称少于6个的，可以加下划线"_"补足到6个，然后再加上"~1%"
2. 不带 % 的目录字节前后最多总共是 33 个. 文件夹名称大于多于6个的，直接在后面补上下划线"_"，一直补到32个字符，再加上数字"1"，如
DEVHOOK_________________________1，总共33个字符；文件夹名称少于6个的，可以加下划线"_"补足到6个，然后再补
下划线到32个字符，再加上数字"1"，即可。
不过不是所有的都能改,,,有的改了无法运行,,,, 请自行测试
还有一个要注意的是
拷贝的时候有个顺序问题，先 copy 不带 % 号的，再 copy 带 % 的

Fanjita has updated his firmware 2.0 Eboot loader for the PSP to version 0.6. This program allows for the launch of some homebrew programs (not all since it is being run in user-mode and not kernel mode.) This program builds on the work done by Saotome to load homebrew EBOOT.PBPs into PSPs with v2.0 firmware, using the TIFF exploit. It will not work on any other firmware version - including v2.01 and 2.50. Changes in this release include:
